The PACTE gives citizens the final say: the RIC — the right to propose laws, repeal them, recall officials, and amend the Constitution.   • Remind people that nothing is imposed: everything is decided by referendum.
  • Highlight the left and right co-signatures.

✕ DON’T

  • Attack a party or a candidate by name.
  • Get drawn into immigration, Europe, taxes… (“that’s for after the PACTE”).
  • Oversell: own the points that are “open to debate.”
  • Use jargon (say “you rank the candidates” rather than “Condorcet voting”).
  • Promise “everything, right now.”

Two letters, two audiences: the candidate (to get their signature) and the party activist (the active voter base — the people who can get their candidate to sign from the inside). Adapt them and sign with your own name.

It proposes one thing, upstream of every platform: clean democratic rules of the game (citizens’ initiative referendum, a more representative voting system, blank ballots that count, pluralistic media, officials who answer for what they do…), chosen by referendum. Fair rules are the guarantee that YOUR ideas will be heard better: a voting system where no one has to “vote tactically” anymore, equal airtime, the right of citizens’ initiative.
